Tasked with designing an intervention on a small parcel of unused land in urban Chicago, this project considers a constrained community space.
Chicago Urban Creative is a recreation and creative-based social architecture. The participant enters a sequence of naturally lit and enclosed hallways, and progresses to exponentially increasing open spaces lit by strategically placed windows and openings. Community members are encouraged to intersect/interact through the use of a variety of diverse and modifiable social spaces.
