noot
nutrition for an apocalyptic future
A theoretical project looking into a future of food scarcity and depleted resources.

Noot is imagined to be an emergency generative food device, comprised of a vending unit and product. The vending component would exist in different forms around urban, rural, and in-building areas, providing nutritional cubes comprised of easily cultivated and non-sensitive agricultural goods, such as algae, fungi, and certain insects. Nutritional cubes would be rationed out through the scanning of a user’s biometrics via their saliva; Noot would then generate cubes with a specific formula which matches the user’s nutritional needs.
