Vassilissa Semouchkina (she/they) is a creative professional and avid outdoorsman from Saint Petersburg, Russia. She currently resides in Seattle, Washington, where she works as an adjunct lecturer for the University of Washington.
She completed her undergraduate career at the University of Michigan, double majoring in Architecture and Art and Design. She has recently graduated with a Master of Design (MDes 2021) from the University of Washington.
She is passionate about responsible design, sustainability, design research, and design futures, and is currently interested in furthering the partnership of design and the sciences through the exploration of scientific communication and data visualization.
